Atkinson's Director of Religious Education

Annie Scott is our Lifespan Director of Religious Education and has served three other Unitarian Universalist congregations as a professional religious educator before coming to Atkinson the summer of 2001. She grew up in a United Methodist church in LaGrande Oregon where church life was an integral part of her families life. She has wonderful memories about her sixteen years as a United Methodist. She was active in her high school youth group and served on the district youth council which planned a summer training camp for youth and a state Methodist youth conference. Prior to becoming a religious educator she worked in child abuse prevention programs with teen parents, in early childhood education and as a singer/performer. Annie is currently enrolled in Marylhurst University and in the Unitarian Universalist Association, Religious Educator Credentialing Program.
